Book Reviews

Texts with environmental themes are so important to changing hearts and minds about current ecological issues. Therefore, I want people to understand what makes these texts great both in regards to their literary merit and environmental ideals. As a result, I will be reviewing (a term I am using rather loosely) one famous or interesting environmental themed text each week or so (as my schedule permits) to showcase the power and beauty of these texts when read through an environmentalist lens. For the first week the options I am giving you all are A River Runs Through it by Norman Maclean and Walden by Henry David Thoreau. The polls are up on Twitter and Instagram, please vote for your favorite or whichever one you would benefit more from me unpacking!
